Medication Locker Q&A

Read how our automated self-pickup lockers work at the Anchorage Primary Care Center:

Q: Where are the medication lockers located?

Near the 1 West entrance/exit at the Yagheli Shesh Qenq’a ANPCC building. You can access these lockers either through the main interior ANPCC lobby or through the back parking lot off Tudor Road.

Q: How do I retrieve my medications from the locker?

It's simple and secure: (1) Tap the interactive touchscreen anywhere. (2) Scan the barcode/QR code texted to your phone, or type it in. (3) Enter your date of birth. (4) Sign your name, and the appropriate locker door will automatically pop open.

Q: Can all prescriptions be placed in the lockers?

State pharmaceutical laws prohibit the dispensing of controlled substances through electronic lockers, but all other standard maintenance medications (including temperature-sensitive refrigerated drugs) are supported.

Q: How long will my order remain in the locker?

Medications are held securely in lockers for two full days (48 hours). If not retrieved in that timeframe, the code expires and the prescriptions are returned to our central shelves for regular window pickup.
